The blog isn’t dead – it was just napping.
I’m still doing Saturday and Sunday shows on Infinity Tunes – evenings in the UK which makes them afternoon shows for me and the United States crowd.
I’m trying to coordinate a show for the United States evening crowd (and the UK night owls) – once I figure out a good time for that, it will probably be 80s house/techno turntable sets so people can get on the chat board and give me requests.

I had a pretty good set going last Saturday and was looking forward to posting a nice high quality mp3 of it here and on other sites. But it was an Ableton set and Ableton crashed hard 1:45 into the 2 hour set and all was lost on my end. But I was recording it on Ustream so can listen to it here. I hate only having a Ustream link since it records in mono and screws up a lot of songs (Hey – where did the vocals go in Life Is Sweet?).

My Ableton dabbling continues.
I’ve mixed in some 80s house with other stuff in previous weeks on my Infinity Tunes mixes but this week, I did an entire set of 80s house and techno. (Well, almost – I ran out of songs near the end and threw in some Shamen, Pendulum, and Vex’d.)
I was very happy with the way this mix turned out. This is what makes Ableton so cool. I just scratched the surface of what it’s capable of in this mix but still got some very sweet results, including some sections where I mixed 3 songs at once.
