I love Baby Ford’s second album – Ooo, The World Of Baby Ford.
I don’t know if I had heard something from it or if I just bought it because it was a cut-out on sale for like two bucks.
His first album, Ford Trax, which I heard much later, I recall as being pretty raw – simple beats and acid.
The second was a perfect mix of pop music and club sounds.
The third album, BFord9, was much less poppy and more techno but still cool.
Anything I have heard from him after that was experimental and minimal – and pure crap.
I picked up this single since I loved the album so much, but the Children remixes aren’t nearly as good as the album version.
